Our program highlights

Mia's Mission Academy offers unique, individualized programs for girls aged 10-16, fostering healing, academic achievement, and spiritual growth. We support the entire family from enrollment through the transition into adulthood.

Residential program

Our 20-bed, year-round residential program provides a safe and structured environment for girls to heal and thrive. Each therapeutic and academic plan is highly individualized.

Day school commuter program

For girls ready for daily connection with their families, our day school offers a rich academic experience, ideal for transitioning residential students or those working on healing.

Family support program

We believe in supporting the whole family. Our program offers essential resources and guidance to help families grow stronger together throughout the student's journey.

Transition Program

Our team is built to support girls and their families as they transition out of our program and into college, work, or back home.  We help support with things such as applications, interview prep, emotional and mental health resources, and other areas as needed.

A unique approach to healing and growth

Mia's Mission Academy stands apart by offering a holistic approach, blending individualized therapeutic and academic programs with a non-denominational faith-based foundation, partnered with our local church in Simonton, Texas.

Who benefits most?

Our residential program is ideal for girls aged 10-16 facing behavioral and attachment challenges that have disrupted their traditional school and home environments, especially where safety for siblings or family is a concern. The day program suits girls who are further along in their healing journey, ready for daily family connection, or transitioning from our residential program. All students and families benefit from our comprehensive family support and life transitions programs.

Anticipated outcomes for students and families

Our goal is for students to graduate from an accredited Texas Foundation High School Program, meeting college application requirements with options for endorsement credits. We aim to help students establish self-regulation in connection with others, deepen their faith and understanding of God, and develop essential tools for emotional regulation, flexibility, resilience, and strong character. Ultimately, we strive for each girl to discover her unique light and use it for good in the world.
